No number works everywhere.
A carrier-issued mobile, hosted mobile, VoIP, app or other number can be rejected by a bank, government service, platform, short-code sender or carrier at any time.
OTP and registration
Provider statements about SMS do not prove compatibility with a named institution. Number Rescue never guarantees verification, eligibility or account access.
Public and shared numbers
Do not use public receive-SMS inboxes for personal or important accounts. Messages may be visible to others and numbers may be recycled.
Before changing a number
Add non-SMS recovery methods, keep the existing service active, verify porting and activation, and test the messages you need before cancelling.
